Use your own product image as the centerpiece of an AI-generated post.

The Hero Mockup feature lets you upload an image (phone showing your website, product photo, screenshot of your app) and Signal generates the entire post WITH your image as the focal element.

How it works

    Upload your image — PNG, JPG, or WebP. Can have any background color.

    Choose position — Center (hero), Left, Right, Top, or Bottom
  3. 3
    Signal removes the background automatically
  4. 4
    AI designs around it — creates the surrounding scene, text, and styling
  5. 5
    Final composite — your image is placed at the chosen position seamlessly

Best use cases

  • App/website showcase — upload a phone mockup with your screen
  • Product launch — upload your product photo on white background
  • Course/digital product — upload an iPad/laptop mockup
  • Service showcase — upload a process photo

Image requirements

  • Max file size: 5MB
  • Format: PNG, JPG, JPEG, or WebP
  • Best if the subject is clearly separated from the background
  • Higher resolution = better integration

Pro tip

When describing the post, mention where you want negative space. For example: "Soft pastel background with lots of empty space on the right" — then set mockup position to "Right". The AI fills the empty space with your mockup naturally.
